Combat Fundamentals

RavenQuest employs a tab-target combat system, offering players multiple ways to engage with enemies:

1. Right-click: Select a specific target by right-clicking on them.
2. Tab key: Cycle through available targets quickly.
3. Battle List: Use the on-screen list to select enemies strategically.

💡 Pro tip: Optimize your targeting experience by adjusting the targeting range in the game settings. Navigate to Settings > Miscellaneous > Targeting Detect Range and set it to 10 tiles for maximum efficiency.

Skills and Abilities

Your character's combat prowess is defined by a rich skill system:

• :skill-tree: Skill Tree: Access your skill tree by pressing 'K'. Here, you can view and upgrade your abilities as you level up, or select archetypes to activate/deactivate

• Action Bar Customization: Drag and drop skills onto your action bar for quick access during combat.
• Hotkey Configuration: Right-click on action bar slots to set custom hotkeys, tailoring the controls to your preferences, or use ESC >> Hotkeys

The Aether System

At the core of RavenQuest's combat lies the Aether system, a unique resource that adds depth to every encounter:

• Aether Bar: Represented by the purple bar in your UI
• Aether Builders: Abilities that generate Aether, filling your bar
• Aether Spenders: Powerful skills that consume Aether for enhanced effects
