Infusions are a material that can be obtained from all creatures in the game and can be used to upgrade the grade of ‣Equipment. To infuse a piece of equipment you also must pay an amount of silver, which is based on the amount of infusion experience your equipment will gain.
It's worth noting that as well as infusions, your own equipment can be used as infusion material. This means that when you gain stronger equipment you can use your lower tier equipment as infusion experience for your new higher tier items. Infusing old gear into your new gear transfers 100% of the infusion experience from the old item.

To infuse your item correctly, you need to open the infusion window. You can do this by using the shortcut by pressing "U" on your keyboard or selecting it from the action bar.
To proceed with the infusion, you can drag and drop the item you wish to infuse into the empty space in the top right corner and do the same with your infusion or the item you want to use as infusion material.
