Introduction to Ships
Ships open up a whole new world.
Being able to sail the oceans will give you the opportunity to hunt Ocean Creatures to collect different trophies and ocean-specific creature drops.
Besides that, Ocean PvP is completely different from land fights. Upgrading hulls, cannons and sails will grant you an advantage, but only skill will get you to shore.
Main Quest Line
To obtain your first Ship, follow these steps:
- Progress through the main story quests
- Reach approximately level 18-20
- Look for Theobaldus in Ravencrest
- Complete the "The Reliant Shipwright" quest
💡 Pro tip: Keep an eye on your quest log and map for the orange exclamation mark indicating available quests.
Using Your Ship
- Complete The Reliant Shipwright quest
- Take your ship to the Barnsley Shipwright to repair it
- Wait for the repairs to be done
- Just move towards the white dotted lines in any Seaport to set sail
Ocean fights
Sea battles have two main skills:
- Shooting
- Hit 1 on your keyboard
- Aim using your mouse
- Click to shoot
- Fixing the hull
- Hit 2 on your keyboard
- Upgrade abilities
- Other numbers on your keyboard will let you use the skills granted by the ship parts you have equipped
- Each part has its own skill and values and you can see those by hovering your mouse over the skill icon
Upgrading your ship
You will need:
- The materials from the Shipbuilder’s list
- The silver listed for the item you’re building
- Once you have all the materials and silver required, head to any Shipbuilder and purchase the item
- Go to the ‣Transports (Y) menu and equip it by clicking the correct slot and choosing your item
💡Pro tip: Buying the items from the market may be faster, but it will make an expensive endeavour even pricier
💡Pro tip: Doing everything yourself will be cheaper and provide more experience points, but it will take more time
Ship Customization
There are two types of customization:
- Ship part improvements
- Ship skins bought from the Ravenstore
Ship parts improvements
‣ ‣ ‣ ‣
- Every new ship part has a different look to it
- Combine them however you like to customize your ship’s appearance and performance
- Some parts are aimed toward speed, others to battle, and so on

Some parts cannot be matched since they are not all compatible due to different tiers and slot amounts

Ship skins
‣
- Cosmetics from the Ravenstore have no effect on stats, unless explicitly stated otherwise
- Equipping a skin will cover your ship’s parts, but will not change its stats
💡 Pro tip: Looks aren’t everything. Small icons beside the player’s name will tell you their ship’s level and equipped parts
