Open World Gathering

RavenQuest offers various resources scattered throughout its vast world. Here's how to get started:

1. Gatherable Resources:
   • :mining: Mining: Look for the pickaxe icons on stones
   • :woodcutting: Woodcutting: look for axe icons on trees
   • :herbalism: Herbalism: look for sickle icons over herbs
   • :fishing-black: Fishing: find hook icons in water bodies
   • :farming-prof: Farming: available only on your land
   • :husbandry: Husbandry: available only on your land

Each profession has its own leveling system and unique resources. Advancing in these skills unlocks access to higher-tier resources, improved gathering efficiency and special perks through the profession's passive skill tree

1. Gathering Process:
   • Approach the resource and press :f-key: to interact
   • A mini-game will appear; stop the meter in the green section to speed up gathering
   • Higher gathering profession levels can use passive skills to speed up gathering

💡 Pro Tip: The higher your gathering skill, the more likely you are to obtain rare or high-quality materials!

Gathering tips

• :woodcutting: Woodcutting in the open world can be tiresome and not give enough :xp: Experience. Plant trees on your land instead for higher :xp:Experience and raw material gains
• :woodcutting: Dense logs cannot be planted, they are only acquired if your tree has been pruned and watered enough
• :fishing-black: Fishing can be done from your ship or from land, but ship fishing areas will not allow you to fish from land and vice-versa
• :fishing-black: Fish can be sold for :silvercoin: Silver to the :fishing-station: Fishbroker Munk or in the Market. Alternatively, you can slice them for raw materials used for :cooking-profession: Cooking and :alchemy-profession: Alchemy
• :mining: Mining is perhaps the most rewarding profession, so the best mining spots are often crowded. Try different areas to avoid other players who may get to the nodes first
• :mining: Mines have different levels according to which floor you’re in. If the mobs are stronger there, you have higher chances of finding more ore or higher level ore
• :herbalism: Herbs can be grown on your land, but some of them can only be found hidden in the open world </aside>

Farm Gathering Content

Farm content is managed through your Estate or Community Farm:

1. Access your farm (Community Farm is unlocked early in the game)
2. Toggle :house-mode:House Mode (icon near the mini-map)
3. Select crops, animals, or trees to plant
4. Place them in available spots on your land
5. Wait for them to grow, then harvest by pressing :f-key: and selecting the gather option

💡 Pro tip: different crops and animals have varying growth times. Plan according to your playtime!
